74 year-old Wendy Hamai dreamed of playing Taiko drums more than 40 years ago. She went on to establish several Taiko groups in Tacoma. Today she relishes in the joy of banging the Taiko drum and enjoys its many benefits to her health and Buddhist religious practice.
